SNOW / BUSES / SCHOOL ETC
MONDAY 15 AUGUST...Gee, this is a bit of a polar blast isn't it! Students had a ball at school first thing this morning, playing in the snow. It sounded as though the Marton/Tutaenui area might have got more snow than the Hunterville/north area did, but nevertheless it was certainly postcard stuff around here this morning! SUCCESSFUL ELECTIVES PROGRAMME

YOUNG LEADERS CONFERENCE ROTORUA
Our head girl and boy together with our eight whanau leaders travelled to Rotorua recently for their Young Leaders Conference.
Pictured here is our Young Leaders group pictured outside their hotel, The Lakeside Novatel, on Monday 16 May.
We travelled up in cars on Sunday morning 15 May and went luging before settling into the Lakeside Novatel. At the hotel we had a hot swim and sauna and tried out their gym before changing for the Matariki dinner and show at the hotel. As part of the show most of us got up on stage (alongside people from Spain, Italy, China and Australia) and got taught how to use the poi and also to do the haka!
